70s Wear

OK so in a couple of weeks I have a 70s disco night to go to in aid of a charity I do a bit of work for. So what to wear. If I had my way I would choose a punk outfit as that not only suits my style but a lot of the clothes I design and make are inspired by Vivienne Westwood and that whole era.

On the other hand I know that most people are doing the disco thing an I am sure that a punk looks out of place amongst all those Abba rejects. :D

So thoughts on what to wear; do the rebel thing and go punk or figure 70s disco? Thoughts and images welcomed.

On the plus side for Disco I do have a pair of candies that I bought from Schuh about 5 years ago that look like they came out of the 70s. Oh and a pair of purple suede hot pants (a student impulse buy).

So it is that time of year again for the office Christmas party. I hear that Schuh head office had theirs last week. So spill the beans any gossip, outrageous outfits, fashion disasters.

Anyone else got any good gossip form their Christmas party.

Hey there,

What are your opinions on eco friendly fashion? There's a lot of it out there this season both on the high street and the catwalk, from organic cotton t-shirts to fair trade fashion.

We'd like to know what you think? Whether it's just another fad or the way of the future....and more importantly will you be trading your favourite fashion label for something more socially responsible???
